Back in 1983, Refrigeration & Heatpump Services was established and started up by Brian Bacon whom as founder and originally the only engineer is still running the company and since 2003 when the company became Limited is now the Managing Director.

Brian started his career in the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning trade at the age of 15 when he left school, having worked for a large national company for many years before he started his own business, the company had large national contracts across the country and it was at this time that air to water systems were being introduced to the domestic market but 25 years ago was unsuccessful.

Today it seems that manufacturers have picked up on this product again and these systems are now being reintroduced to the market as part of the combat against global warming!

The business was originally started as a Sole Trader Partnership and with Brian’s son, Darren becoming an apprentice for the company on leaving school. Having attended college, Darren gained all the required qualifications to become a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer and as of today is now a Director of the company and is the Senior Engineer.

We have a team of engineers who carry out the service, installations and breakdowns. All engineers are employed by ourselves and operate from well stocked/fully fitted vehicles using equipment and techniques that are totally compliant with all current Health & Safety Legislation.

All engineers attend training courses with the major manufacturers so they are kept up to date with the current trends and changes in regulation, in addition they carry Health & Safety documentation and Skill Cards.
 

Over the last 20 years RHPS Ltd has grown in size/structure and a couple of years ago we had to relocate from bingham to new offices in Cropwell Bishop, as more office and workshop space was required. Situated on the A52/A46 corridor we are easily accessible to all major roads and motorways.
